School football kicks off

Yesterday, at the national-level school football tournament held in Yabilabtsa, Zhemgang, Sonam Kuenphen HSS beat Khasadrapchu MSS by 2 goals. Punakha HSS won against Gedu HSS by 1 goal.

In the girls’ match, Ugyen Academy beat Dungse MSS with 2 goals. Yabilaptsa HSS thrashed Drugyel HSS 2-1.

Today, Gedu HSS will play against Nangkhor HSS in the morning match, followed by Phuyum HSS and Khasadrapchu MSS. In the evening, Dungse MSS will face Punakha HSS.

For girls, in the morning, Yabilaptsa HSS will play against Drujegang MSS, followed by Tsenkarla MSS and Drugyel HSS.

In the evening, Ugyen Dorji HSS will play Dungse MSS.

The tournament began on January 4 at Yabilaptsa Higher Secondary School and Tingtibi Lower Secondary School. It will end on January 8.
