Olympic Committee victorious

In the final of Departmental Basketball Tournament 2011 at YDF hall in Thimphu on December 4, Bhutan Olympic Committee defeated Ministry of Health 70-54.

The winners took home a cash prize of Nu 20,000 and a trophy. The runners-up took home Nu 15,000.

BNB, the second runners-up took the rolling trophy with individual certificates, while the third runners-up, Kuzoo FM were given individual certificates.

Organized by Bhutan Basketball Federation, the departmental basketball tournament saw 16 teams participate, four teams each under four groups.

The tournament was organized to provide opportunity for office-goers to play basketball.
