European Union to India, Daniele Smadja, called farewell on Lyonchhen

On September 5, the ambassador and the head of delegation of the European Union (EU) to India, Daniele Smadja, called farewell on Lyonchhen Jigmi Y Thinley at the Gyalyong Tshogkhang in Thimphu. The ambassador acknowledged the warm relationship between EU and Bhutan. She informed Lyonchhen that her delegation is gratified by the results of the 11th Round Table Meeting. She said that the adoption of happiness by the UN is a great contribution from Bhutan to the world. Lyonchhen extended gratitude for the indispensible role played by the EU in the country’s development.
