Ecotourism workshop

From September 5 to 6, nature recreation and ecotourism division (NRED) under the department of forests and park services (DoFPS) of ministry of agriculture and forests conducted a workshop on the theme “Enhancing ecotourism as a tool for conservation and sustainable community development”.  The workshop discussed potentials, programmes and issues related to ecotourism in protected areas, recreational areas, and government reserve forests to finalize the draft ecotourism guidelines.
