Bhutan Star at top six

Bhutan Star singing show is now left with six contestants.

Last weekend, Chencho Thinley from Paro was eliminated from the show with cash and other prizes, while Tshering Tashi from Phongmey in Trashigang, won the Voice of the Week title. Dorji Wangchuck from Tago under Trongsa Dzongkhag had held the title.

This weekend, at the 11th episode of the show, one more contestant will be eliminated and the remaining five contestants will compete for the final in the 12th episode of the show.

“I don’t know when the judges will use their veto power to save the contestants from being eliminated. Chances are that some of the deserving contestants might have to go out of the show,” said one of the regular viewers of the show.

The grand finale of the show will be held on January 1, 2012.
