Although the price of petrol goes up day after day, the human desires of buying a new cars never goes down. I really wonder that in our towns some people are so rich to afford costly cars and they go for new designs and fashions every year. But I still see some people still walking bare foots having not able to buy a cheapest chapels back in our villages.
Town people talk about cars and petrols whereas village people talk of crops destroyed by wild animals.
Because we couldn’t and cannot control the human desires, we are already facing the consequences i.e. gobal warming and climatic disasters.
If car population is not taken care of, we must worry of more climatic disasters and parking spaces which is again already in problems.
I can understan Lhadens feelings.
There needs to be a restriction on imports of high end and expensive cars, unless Gross National Happiness is only meant for a select few.
Something needs to be done before the countrymen feels left out and betrayed.
its all about matter of time…soon people will realize the misuse of the resourses which could have been better materalised in doing other usefull things…but what concerns me is that whether it will be too late to realize our mistakes…
what to do la. one at least need a car to move around in this time of century. one cannot afford to give away onse earning to someone walking bare foot, but one should also have in mind the problems arising due to more cars.
one should be content with one car, i think.
the demand for cars will never subside and the price of petrol will never subside too.
still, those who can buy cars will manage to fuel them as well. this is the fact la. what to do tey.
