Yes to fulfill the vision of GNH as this is an alarming & disturbing issue that we see increasing day after day which is also a societal issues to be brought down in a small country like ours. Just feeling pity on them wouldn’t help them. So it is acute necessary.

Although I voted No…. there already are old people in the street…not all people think and act like Bangchu …. whenever I see them in the street, I wish for an Old Age Home indeed…

Children mistreated by step-parents and old parents mistreated by step-children/their own children are the two problems to be looked into by all of us. This is a common problem and good issues raised to be brought down and solved.

increasing population…. changing time…..finds some of the elderly people roving in the streets, which means they are homeless or odd ones out of the family… indeed should be one shelter to help and support GNH…..

Definitely yes. Bhutan, it’s time that you grow-up and evolve into modernity.
Not good to have house made out of leaves and dung!!
Bhutan is a tiny country that is barely known of in this world!

The old parents who come from not so well to do family backgrounds are the ones who suffers homeless and carelessly. And yet again the same thing in case of the youths too.

I heard that our kind government have already planned and under construction of the old home at Bumthang. Hope and pray for the success of the plan for the common good and welfare, especially our old parents who are suffering like this.

May all sentient beings be happy without suffering.

I definitely think that it is high time for the government to take a look at this issue. Recently I have noticed many old people living in streets without food, shelter and proper clothing, this shows that someone has to take the responsibility and do something.
I wish this matter could be taken seriously for the benefit of the society overall before it gets too late.
