Druk Wangyal final tomorrow

The final of Druk Wangyal Archery tournament in Thimphu will be played between PCAL and Zshongar-11 tomorrow at Changlingmithang ground from 8 am.
PCAL defeated SJP enterprise in the semi-finals played on December 12 and 13 while Zshongar-11 defeated Dhungsam Trothuen on December 10 and 11. Played on the best of three matches format, whoever won two matches sealed their place in the final.
The winners will take away a 21-inch television set each while the runners-up will take home a washing machine each.
The best archer will ride home a Suzuki motor bike. He will be assessed on the number of kareys he has hit from the beginning of the tournament till the semi-finals. The man of the match and the highest dobji hitter will take away a washing machine each.

e beginning of the tournament, which began on November 21. Organised by Bhutan Archery Federation (BAF), the tournament is sponsored by Druk Green Power Corporation and Zimdra Automobiles. In a year, BAF organises two tournaments each on compound bows and traditional bows.
Druk Wangyal Archery tournament was started in 2003. Home Minister Minjur Dorji, who is the chief guest at the event, will give away the prizes.
