India House golf starts Nov 11

The India House Maruti Golf Tournament will start from November 11. The qualifying round will be played on November 11 and 13 while the finals will be played on November 14 and 15 at the India House golf course.
For players above 55 years, based on their net scores, they can play under veterans category. The veterans category will be for the final round only.
While the men’s tournament will be played over 36 holes and the scores of the qualifying round will be carried forward to the finals in accordance with those who make cut, the women’s tournament will be played over nine holes.
Should there be a fewer number volunteering to play on any day, the tournament committee has the discretion to draw up the five balls. The entry fee for the tournament is Nu 1,000 for men and Nu 750 for women. Interested players should register on November 8 before 6 pm.
Sponsored by Zimdra Automobiles, the tournament’s first prize this year is a Maruti A Star Lxi car. Prizes will also be awarded to the best net runner-up (overall), best gross runner-up (overall), best gross (overall), veterans’ champion, veterans’ runner-up, women’s winner and women’s runner-up.
There are also four minor prizes for the qualifying round, two minor prizes for the final rounds and two other prizes for individual golfers getting holes during and before the tournament.
