India House Golf final tomorrow

The last qualifying round of India House Golf tournament will be played today, and the two-day final round will start from tomorrow at the India House Golf course in Thimphu.
With 154 golfers, this year’s tournament saw the highest number of participants. Out of 154 golfers, 151 are male and three female. The participants are from various backgrounds including the Lyonchhen.
Organized by India House Golf Club, the five-day tournament is sponsored by Zimdra Automobile. The coveted prize for the champion is a Maruti Suzuki A-star Lxi car. Other winners of the tournament will also receive attractive prizes.
There is a veteran’s category for participants above 55 years of age based on net scores. This category will be played only during the final round.
The main tournament will be played over 36 holes. If participants qualify for the final round, the scores of the qualifying round will be carried forward to the final.
The ladies category will be played over nine holes this afternoon. The Prime Minister will also be the chief guest at the final on November 15.
