Anoj Chhetri, a two-and-half-year-old boy became the 100th customer of the Maruti Suzuki A-Star car on May 22. The lucky customer received a digital rice cooker from Bhutan Zimdra Automobiles, the dealer of Maruti Suzuki A-Star in Bhutan. Rural taxes lost in collection

The Royal Audit Authority (RAA) has recommended the government to institute a systematic rural tax collection. According to the RAA, lapses in collection of rural taxes have been a major issue in the gewog administrations. Bhutanese archers prepare for world championship

Bhutan will take part in the 45th World Outdoor Target Archery championship in Ulsan, Korea, from September 1 to 9. In preparation, the archery federation has been training 20 girls and 21 boys out of which three girls and three boys will be selected based on their performance to participate in the world championship.
