Land of Menjong Norbui ling
Named by the people from forbidden land
Since with abundance of herbal plants
Up hills and down dales in the land

The land of prophecy by enlightened one
Flourished with distinguished dharma
West to east; north to south
Fabricated into fertile society

The true dharma-holder of Drukpa
Ngawang Namgyal stepped into the soil of Dragon
Established the government of dual system
Between the two gigantic nations.

Up from the north
Came the old rivals of Drukpa
Threaten the tranquility of nation
Endeavour to plunder the nation
All in vain they endeavored

The mystical power and prayers from triple Gem
Crash the force in astound
Make to before Drukpa and return
Down from the south

White men came advancing
Equipped with superior armours
Turn over all the duars
The true son of Lho Mon Kha Zhi

Buried the difference and came up together
Took refuge from the dharma protector
Astonishingly, counter attack the stranger
Down the stranger field in disguise

Delightfully, up brought the armors and captives
Later the peace talk began signed the treaty of Sinchula.
The tranquility and peace began
Upholding the prestigious culture and tradition
That brought up the nation

Till the end of the 20thcentuary
The new era of 25thcentury
Druk Yul face the new struggle
Flush out militant from our soil
Not with sword, with modern tools.

Now and then the rotten minds
Endeavour to set the land in trouble
Blessing of triple Gem and fortune of people
Never let it come to our soil.

Bhutanese are proud of it
Democratic government went to swing
No barrier came to intervene
A great pride for whole Pelden Drukpas
