31 October 2008

Come on Bhutan! Come on Bhutanese!
Come on India! Come on Indians!
Let us exult at the historic occasions.
Of Coronation and Centenary celebrations.
Democracy institutionalization and
Indo-Bhutan friendship rejuvenation.
Triumph for Bhutan!
Triumph for Bhutanese!
Triumph for India!
Triumph for Indians!
Victory for Bhutan
Is the victory for India.
Indo-Bhutan Victory
Is the victory of the world.
Peace loving pristine Bhutan
Gave birth to many great souls:
Sir Ugyen Wangchuck,
King Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuck
And many noble lights.
Shine you India!
Shine you Indians!
Shine you to a light
Of humanity
And unity in diversity.
Light of India
Is the might of Bhutan
Indo-Bhutan might
Is the light of the world.
Tolerant and holy land India
Bore many great souls:
Chacha Nehru, Dr.Manmohan Singh.
And many noble souls.
Wake up Bhutan!
Wake up Bhutanese!
Wake up India!
Wake up Indians!
Wake up to the mission
Of peace and progression.

cool but critically, it seems to me that poet has more to tribute india than bhutan unlike what the topic suggest.
