Two teenage girls who were reported missing from their school in Zhemgang were found in a hotel in Gelephu. According to a source, they were being aided by a construction labourer working at a construction in the same school that they were studying in.

Druk Air passengers have complained about loss of out-baggage:
Passengers said that they lost personal belongings from inside their baggage. The General Manager of Druk Air Corporation Ltd said that the baggage could be lost in the process of sorting in Bangkok which deals with 200 to 300 aircraft and the baggage is sorted out electronically. Some people intentionally claim baggage loss, he said.

Customs officials in Phuentsholing seized cigarettes worth nearly Nu. 150,000. The consignment was seized from an Indian national at a scrap yard in the lower market.

This week the Tsirang District Court sentenced four men to prison terms ranging from five years to five months. They were found guilty of signing fake bills without proper verification and inspection of raw materials for the construction of new classrooms at Mendaygang MSS.
