It is a real good step by the government as this will help the people to learn lot of things along with entertainment. And I do not believe that this will create any negative impression amoung th e common mass as as some belive, because the Bhutnees are proud of their country and their values. I totally agree with Tenzin,’ I THINK EVERYTHING HAVE ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES..IT DEPEND ON INDIVIDUAL TO PICK UP RIGHT THING FOR THEMSELVES….WHETHER IT IS DISH OR CABLE’. Hats off to you Tenzin for that.

good news to us. we ll get the taste and preferences of the servicses. the government should take part in the business to ensure that it should reach as far remote as possible yhe the least cost. now the people of bhutan should taste the reality of democracy. people will relised when you made a compare with other countries in any cases either both the directions.

This may be dangerous to the rulers of Bhutan as the cable TV will spread the hunger of freedom and information about democratic freedom. The Bhutanese people living inside their own country may know the reality of their own country while they compare it with others.

wai sob machab.Therebari laba chin TV Druk Gyalkhab na TV mingo. Those who are doing TV business are the enemies of the rural Bhutanese. Instead of letting them involved in Mani and other spiritual works they are alluring them to TV. This is bad.

I wonder, why Bhutan is totally against Dish TV. i still remember they banned MTVs, weird isn’t?
